She went to 3 different elementary schools

Where did you go to college?
UCLA.

What was your major?
Sociology and Asian-American studies

Why did you decide to teach?
There was something new to teach everyday and I wanted to invest in the next generation

What do you like to do when you’re not teaching?
Eat (Sushi, Steak), sleep, Hang out with friends and family, read, playing video games, watching movies.

Can you tell us 2 little facts about yourself?
1. I played classical piano for 18 years
2. Ate blanket lint as a kid

Who is/are your heroes?
My Grandma Chan

How long have you been teaching?
4 years

As a teacher, what is one of the most hard things for you to see?
Seeing someone who is really smart and has the potential to be someone great but, gives up or doesn’t try.

She has 2 dogs and a rabbit. She used to play piano for seven years and she still can’t play.

Choose one thing you participated in, completed or worked on in Leadership Class this week. Reflect on your involvement with these things. Reflections must be a minimum of two paragraphs.


Leadership Journal Prompt - 2/11/08:

Think of what your school is like at lunchtime. Pick one particular place, and picture it in your mind. This place could be large or small. Describe it clearly to a friend what the place is like at lunchtime so your friend can imagine what it is like to be there.


Homework: Design class shirt. Be sure to include a couple parts you think other students would really like. Ask at least 3 other JLMS students NOT from Leadership class what they think of your idea. Have them write their answers on your design.
